Pitsford Birding

Hello,

Today I spent Pitsford Reservoir and the Holcot Bay was very quite apart from a Kingfisher. So I decided to travel down to the Dam next to the Brixworth Country Park which I did see. On my journey down there was an easy 50 Lesser Redpolls, 50 Linnets and some Goldfinches. Other birds seen were 6 Little Egret, a dozen Skylarks, lots of displaying Goldeneye and Mallard and a large finch flock from the dam which couldn't be put to species due to distance and on the flood water of the dam shown a Green Sandpiper.

Regards,

Jacob
